Hippocracy Continues!!

Porn is illegal in Singapore whereas it is legal in India. To facilitate the implementation, Singapore has checks in place where at the ISP level, most of the porn Sites have been blocked using some keywords. However there are still some sites which bypass this scrutiny but intent is always there to block viewing of such sites. The purpose behind this law is to restrict viewing of obscene and porn materials by anyone and everyone including children. However Singapore does allow screening of mature contents in theaters with a specific rating which allows viewing by audience above a certain age threshold e.g. movies containing sexual scenes are for consumption of people who are above 23 years old.

On the other hand, India has freely allowed streaming/viewing/uploading of porn content for consumption of anyone and everyone including children. However, it does not allow screening of "Fifty shades of Grey" in theaters as this is against Indian culture. So, watching porn by children is not against Indian culture but watching mature contents by the restricted audience is against Indian culture. As usual, when we take this kind of stand we look like bunch of Hippocrates, on whom any rational human being would like to laugh at and would pity at our mentality.
